I play the harp. I had heard that the original pronounciation was jaw harp and jews is just a corruption with no racial connotation intended. some folks need to calm down I guess.

called a JAWS-HARP).
Gibson copyrighted the word Dobro (R).
Therefore you have to have their permission to use it,
therefore everybody is “forced” to call it RESOPHONIC GUITAR.
